Child Sexual Abuse:: This topic interst me because i will get to know how stuid fathers and teachers have a mindset to hurt childeren. This also interest me because it shows how alot of family members have to deal with the fact that some people who abuse there own childeren. Alot of kids are abused by someone in school. it asham because alot of students that teacher may not be hurting them. Alot of teachers try to hide there way through this situtation.
Cheating:: Cheating has been done in alot of school. Alot of kids are more likely to copy word for word then copy off another student. students are most likely to find information online and then copy it instead of asking a kid and copying what he or she has written. This is interesting because now students have to sign contracts to make sure they are making sure they dont copy anything. against: You should never cheat. cheating never ends in just one person yelling at you when we are in high school you can get in alot of touble.
Criminal Justice:: Criminal justice is very insterting to me because i like to see how people get charged with something they have done. I like how you can learn criminal justice in school then move on to any part you would like. You can move on to any part you would like to do.
Plastic Surgey: This is a way you can restructer your body or face if you dont like how god has desgined you. This topic is amazing because people alway want to spend alot of money just make themself feel better about themself. I wonder if i took a poll how many people would choose to get plastic surgey other then trying to either loose weight or try to fix themself without any surgery. How many health benefits would effect you with different body parts. For : Having self-esteem. This also effects the way you find yourself which may affect hwo other looks at you. Aganist:: This may not last forever. This may go bad sooner or later or it may effect something toward you. you may not like it at all after it is all done.

What did wiki software allow Web users to do that the Mosaic browser did not? It would be used a collaboration tool. What do blogs and wikis have in common? wikis are able to modify any web page and blogs are able to start your own way of a blogging page What problem did a young Jimmy Wales find with the World Book Encyclopedia? the problem young jimmy have was that the book had shortcomings How was Jimmy Wales inspired by the World Book Encyclopedia to create Wikipedia? it would be free and it would be able to be made by volunteer work How have encyclopedias inspired you in your own life? it has inspired me in my own life because it was able to make researching easier for me. Why did Nupedia fail? Nupedia failed by a study that went wrong. How did wiki software change the ideas behind Nupedia? wiki software changed the idea behind nupedia by copyrighting What is “crowdsourcing?” crowdsourcing is letting any person in the word to be able use everything on this website. What do you think about the concept of “any fool in the world” being able to write articles for Wikipedia? He is right because anyone can put stupid stuff on the internet and it would make students think it is real. Do agree with the idea that “total idiots” could edit Wikipedia and of that being a good thing? Explain. No its not a good idea because anyway would be able to write anything they want and little kids or anyone having a research paper would put the wrong info. Why do you think Wikipedia grew so fast and became so popular in such a short amount of time? it came so fast being people were able to add there own idea and be able to give people knowledge Do you believe Sanger’s elitist attitude was a good thing or a bad thing for Wikipedia? yes it was a good idea What did you learn from the anecdote about the Wikipedia article on Einstein going to Albania for a passport in 1935? i learned that they may have more informations. Explain this quote from the article: “I can’t imagine who could have written such detailed guidelines other than a bunch of people working together...It’s common in Wikipedia that we’ll come to a solution that’s really well thought out because so many minds have had a crack at improving it.” The author of the article states that Wikipedia “grew organically.” What does he mean by that? he means that with alot of people getting to work on it they will be able get it done faster. How has Wikipedia “been the greatest collaborative knowledge project in history?” It has because it was able to make everyone learn about everything faster. Based on your own opinion and experience with Wikipedia, do you agree with the above statement or disagree with it? Explain. What does the author mean by “wiki-crack?” to much knowledge will hurt you Based on the article, do you believe Wikipedia is a reliable source of information? not really because it is able to be edited to let any random go into Do you believe its possible for a 16-year-old from New Jersey to write “insightful” Wikipedia articles? Of Course because we may have a smart 17 year old that knows the info. How do you feel about basing your own research on something a 16-year-old wrote on Wikipedia? Kinda scared i would not know if it was right. What does Jimmy Wales mean by this mission statement: “Imagine a world in which every single person on the planet is given free access to the sum of all human knowledge?” it scary because we will never know if it is right or wrong Do you agree or disagree with this mission statement? I do not agree Do you think Wikipedia has succeeded in its mission? of course because they made a tool were you can edit anything Do you agree or disagree that ordinary people, people without degrees, can “be part of the process of creating and distributing knowledge?” Of course because everyone is able to put a art into it Based on your reading of the article, would you yourself use Wikipedia for your academic research? No because i would be scared Would you yourself like to write and/or edit Wikipedia articles in order to be “a part of the process of creating and distributing knowledge?” Why or why not? No because i would not like anyone to take my history if it was wrong

1) If you believe that all students should be Web literate, what is the best strategy for your school to prepare you with this skill? Explain. * The best way for my school to learn how to be web literate is basically break down the internet step by step. Learning the web should be easy when we can be able to know everything maybe working backwards. Getting all of the basic knowledge to the side and working on the hard stuff should be able to help us specialize in being web literate. 2) What skills should all teachers have to be Web literate? Explain. * Skills that teachers should have to be web literate is maybe always know tricks to work around the internet and be able to explain it like a pro based on how they know we can understand it. 3) What role should school filtering play in your school district? Explain why schools should block or not block Web sites. * School should play a filtering role because sometime student are focused knowing that when it can be computer day they might try to go on a website that would not let them be focused on class. School should block website because knowing that you can look at stuff that will affect your school work like maybe writing a paper at lunch or in class. i know i would look to go on social media website so i can relax but that will make me not focused on my work in school. 4) Do you believe the Internet is as big a transformer of culture as the printing press? Explain. * Yea i believe having the painting press made everything be available on the computer and it just a upgrade of what they use to have because sooner or later everything get out. 5) If yes, what parts of our culture do you believe will be most affected? Explain. * The part of our culture would be the ability to be able to spread anything out on any social media website you would like and be able to ask someone to publish something in either a school news paper. This is why people should really watch what they state on the internet.

What Do You Consider Interesting?

The Subject i most enjoy reading about is crime because i like to hear about how when in this situation they solve it. My Favorite hobby is tennis because it alway keeps me on my feet not knowing where the ball is going. If i won the lottery, i would use the money to buy a house for my mom and always make sure she is in good hands and let her always have a new car. because i always want her to not have to worry about anything in life. The Type of volunteer activity i prefer is always help with people that need the most of the help like senior citizens My Favorite school subject has always been Math because i had a dream of being accountant if i ran the world, the first thing i would change would be the price of gas, because no one would be allowed to buy gas with the prices going up.
